Description

The signal yarn is a special construction which adds a V2A stainless-steel thread to the twist.
The signal yarn can be produced on different base-materials depending on its required features.

Application examples:

  • as a sensor for metal detectors
  • for special requirements of anti-static products

Material / Construction:

As base-material, either a thread of spun fibres or filaments can be used. This base will then be twisted with one or more V2A stainless-steel threads of 0,045-0,06 mm thickness.

Colours:

Dyed yarns on customer’s specification or as per our colour card upon request. The minimum order quantity depends on the vesselsize.

Lubrication / Avivage Sleeves
Special sewing-thread lubrication, containing silicone KS + Ko
Special sewing-thread lubrication, without any silicone SF KS + Ko
Antistatic lubrication GA KS
